This was the first time I went shooting alone by myself. I'm not supposed to shoot alone but alas, someone put me aeroplane at the very last minute, high and soar. Not a bad thing thou, I always wanted to try but simply too lazy. It required so much effort to motivate myself to step out of the house lol. Nevertheless it was pretty fun, the joy of shooting alone.
The atmosphere was really good, many chanting and instruments playing. Enjoyed experiencing other races celebration. Being a photography opportunist, one would naturally want to capture every interesting moment. But during the piercing process, I can almost 'feel' the pain just by looking and a few times too stunned to press the shutter, especially when the devotees started yelling. I know they are supposingly not feeling the pain but OMG. Next time ok, will be more well prepared.
