Northern part of Vietnam left me a great impression. Hanoi is a vibrant city blessed with friendly good-natured folks, tons of stores and endless streets to explore @ Old Quarter, you can hardly get bored. The only problem would be the heat thou, the Sun can be deadly.
Although most of the Vietnamese are kind and friendly, thieves are something to be mindful of. One of my friends was 'robbed' right in front of him just within 2 hours when we walked around the Old Quarter. Fortunately the money is able to be retrieved back with the aid of our Vietnamese tour guide. Nonetheless as long as one is careful, it is a lovely place to visit.
